Race 13 - STP 400 Penalties

It was not a memorable day for Jamie McMurray at what is essentially his home track, Kansas Speedway in Sunday's STP 400. From the beginning of the race, McMurray fell way back from his 6th starting position. In the latter stages of the race, McMurray's pit crew let a tire get away during a stop forcing McMurray to have to make a pass through penalty. The end result was a disappointing 29th place finish, a lap off the leaders.
