Kurt Busch looked to be a contender for the win in Sunday's Kobalt Tools 500 at the newly reconfigured Phoenix International Raceway. Unfortunately, Busch was caught speeding in the pits as he ran out of gas before making a green flag stop while leading. Busch had to serve a drive through penalty which ended his chances of winning. Busch finished the race in 22nd.
