It was a quiet day in the pits during Sunday's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Sylvania 300 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Only one driver/team was penalized the race, that being Stephen Leicht's team for going over the wall too soon during a lap 43 stop under caution. The only other two penalties for the day were for pre-race changes by the 22 and 55 teams. Sam Hornish, Jr. had to start at the rear of the field due to his not qualifying the Shell/Pennzoil Dodge while Brian Vickers had to give up a top 10 starting position for a pre-race engine change.

Number/Driver, Lap, Infraction, Penalty
#22 Sam Hornish, Jr., Pre-Race to the rear, tail end, driver change
#55 Brian Vickers, Pre-Race to the rear, tail end, engine change
#33 Stephen Leicht, 43, Crew member(s) over the wall too soon, tail end
