It was a fairly quiet race in Sunday's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series LENOX Industrial Tools 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Only two penalties were tallied in the race but the more serious of the two proved to have big implications on the final result of the 300-mile race. NASCAR caught Kyle Busch speeding entering the pits during a green flag stop on lap 67. To make things worse, Busch's pit crew had issues with the lug nuts on his car which slowed down his stop. After serving his pass thru penalty, Busch found himself out of the top 20 but eventually made a run up through the field to the top 10. However, Busch was knocked out of the top 10 again after the final pit stop of the day and he was never able to recover. After starting from the pole and leading three times for 72 laps, Busch and his Interstate Batteries Toyota Camry team ended the day a disappointing 16th.
